The Prayer
Clifford would like to thank to the
Organizers (Jonathan and Dave Shaw) and the sponsors for giving
me this wonderful opportunity to play at the Manoel and to participate
in this year’s Teatru Unplugged Edition. Thanks !!!
I pray you'll be our eyes, and watch
us where we go,
And help us to be wise, in times when we don't know
Let this be our prayer, when we lose our way
Lead us to the place, guide us with your grace
To a place where we'll be safe...
(Lyrics from “The Prayer”,
Composed by Carole Bayer Sager and David Foster).
I thought that my last piece fitted well with
the concert. There is so much injustice around the world, so many
natural disasters that I found it appropriate that “Our”
world needs our prayers and hopes for a better world!!
