CONCERT FOR THE MALTESE PRESIDENT DR GUIDO
DE MARCO (2001)
This was the most challenging concert for Clifford Borg. The piano
recital was a private recital exclusive to the Maltese President
Mr Guido Demarco taking place at the classical San Anton Place.
New music composed by Clifford was performed. The programme included
the uplifting Expectations and Never Forgotten, a piano piece dedicated
to the lately departed Dario Pace. Music from Drifted, Pavanne Pour
une Infante Defunte by Maurice
Ravel and Gymnopedie No 1 by Erik
Satie. The soprano Maria
Muscat known as the Stage name "La Barokka", was invited
as a special guest performing Look for Me.
