The program included Expectations, Remembrance, My Funny Valentine,
Wings, Drifted and Sunrise. The second part included Simplicity,
Nature Boy, Hoping, Beautiful this Way, Amazing Grace and Autumn
Leaves.
The other small performances in Paris, Luzern
(Switzerland) and Hintertux (Austria) included Orange Forever, How
Close to Eternity and Simplicity.
There are many thank you`s
to end up this wonderful, emotional and intense Simplicity Tour.
I would like to thank first and foremost Christoph Schmitt for his
work and determination. Family Schmitt and friends, You have been
wonderful with me. Also I would like to thank from the bottom of
my heart Sabine and Olga for their performances. And I would like
to give a big hug to Monique and Willy for making my stay such a
worthwhile experience.
IN MALTA
SAINT JAMES CAVALIER
JUNE 2002
"Simplicity" was the name of the concert, which was
held in the beautiful surroundings of St
James Cavalier Center for Creativity in Valletta on the 28th
of June, 2002. The first part of the programe included music from
"Drifted" and new compositions such as Expectations and
Simplicity. Josie Scerri appeared as a special guest performing
"Nature
Boy" from Mouline Rouge. The second part of the programe
also included music from "Drifted" and new material such
as "Within a Jealous Game", "Orange Forever",
"Calm", "Beauty" and "How Close to Eternity".
Josie also performed Bjork`s "New World" from the motion
picture "Dancer
in the Dark".
